Welcome, NCAA fans! Here are some great activities, scenic spots and just amazing places in the twin cities. Sure, there are still many things to see and do, but it’s a diverse sample and a great start to test what cities have to offer. Make sure to click on the links in the titles for more information. Walker Arts Center / Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

Let’s start with a little bit of culture, right? First, check out the amazing artwork at the world-famous Walker Art Center, and then take a walk right outside to get brighter artwork at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden! From the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry to … an interesting blue rooster, “Hahn / Cock”, the newly renovated sculpture garden has something to look at.

If you are more interested in science and technology, you will want to go to St. Paul and visit the Science Museum. From the permanent installations of dinosaurs and fossils, to the celebration of Indian culture and traditions, to sports science, to the amazing temporary exhibits and the massive screen of the Omni Theater – in the Science Museum everyone will find something to do.

Now Minnesota has its own Topgolf location! Located north of the cities in Brooklyn Park, challenge your friends to play golf in the three-story, open 215-yard course and golf bar! There is much more than golf: video games, billiards and more.

You may have heard of this mega-mega mall. But Mall Of America really needs to be seen to believe. There is an indoor amusement park, SEA LIFE aquarium and hundreds of shops / restaurants worth visiting. Here you can spend the whole day without seeing half of what it offers. Probably still too cold to skydive (April in Minnesota is pretty challenging in terms of weather), and skydiving is too expensive anyway! Check out iFly west of Minneapolis. As you may have guessed, iFly is an indoor parachute jump center that offers the feeling of skydiving in a wind tunnel. You can also wear virtual reality goggles and truly plunge into a simulated skydive from an airplane.

Como Park Zoo and Conservatory – St. Paul

There is a lot going on at the historic zoo and conservatory at Como Park in St. Paul. Part of the zoo has a seal island, an exhibition of big cats, a bunch of aquatic inhabitants, primates and an “exhibition of world-class polar bears.” It also does not end there. There is also a huge greenhouse, which houses many beautiful plants.

The chain of lakes is Minneapolis

Minneapolis is rightly called the “City of Lakes”! Whatever the season, Minneapolis Lakes is worth a visit. The chain of lakes includes Lake Brownie, Lake Cedar, Lake Islands, Bde Maka ska and Lake Harriet. They all have their own characteristics, from the vastness of Bde Maca Ska to the picturesque wooded islands and intimate hiking trails on Lake Cedar. So take a walk and explore!
Minnehaha Regional Park – Minneapolis

Minnehaha Regional Park is one of the oldest and most popular parks in Minneapolis. There’s a large 53-foot majestic waterfall that is often shown on television when Minneapolis hosts major sports games. So you may have seen this before! There are also limestone cliffs, river views, hiking trails and more.
