The Olympic football competition at the 2024 Paris Games will end with the women’s final instead of the men’s for the first time.

As hosts, France’s men’s national team will play their first match of the tournament in Marseille, while the women’s team will host the 2019 Women’s World Cup final in Lyon on July 25.
