A man from Maksatouni village was seriously injured

A Maxatawny Townshp man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in the township last weekend, state police said Monday.

According to the military, 54-year-old Bryant C. Price was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital by Topton ambulance after an accident around 4:40 p.m. Saturday on Topton and Linden roads.

There was no information about his health.

Soldiers from Reading Station provided the following bill:

Price was moving north on Toptan Road and lost control at a small left turn where Linden merges with Toptan. The motorcycle fell to the side, leaving the left side of the road. Price and the motorcycle drove to the opposite side of the road and crashed into a pole.

The investigation into the disaster continues.
