A police officer involved in the shooting in Washington County

HIKORY (KDKA) – Sources have confirmed to KDKA that a police officer was involved in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Hickory, Washington.
At about 6 pm, state police, firefighters and medics were called to the intersection of 519 and 50.
According to 911 calls, state police fired several shots.
911 Call: “4112 with EMS, local police and state police in Hickory on Westland Road and Main Street, Mount Pleasant-Tup., Hickory site for several shots fired by state police. One suspect fell at this time. 1820.”
Police closed the area for about 4 hours while they worked on gathering evidence and investigating.
Authorities at the scene told KDKA that the investigation was undertaken by state police.
It is not reported whether the officer was injured or the condition of the suspect.
