Amanda Seyfried from Allentown is included in the list of 100 most influential according to Time – The Morning Call

High school graduate Alena Amanda Seyfried has just added another award to her ever-growing list.

It was included in the list of the 100 most influential according to Time magazine, an annual list of those achievements of artists, icons, pioneers and other people who have had a lasting impact.

Since her debut on the big screen in 2004 in the film “Evil Girls” Seyfried is constantly rising to fame. Since then, Seyfried has starred in numerous films, including “Mamma Mia!” and Little Red Riding Hood.

In 2021, Seyfried was nominated for an Oscar for her role as Marion Davis in the Netflix biopic “Man.”

Seyfried’s latest project brought her a place on the list: she played Elizabeth Holmes in the series Hulu “The Dropout”. Holmes is a disgraced CEO and founder of the medical startup Theranos in Silicon Valley, which is on trial for fraud.

She joins the list of women, including actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Zoe Kravitz and Zendai. The list also includes “titans” such as Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Joch and members of the US football team Megan Rapino, Becky Sauerbrunn and Alex Morgan.

The list also includes world leaders such as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin, as well as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
