Anthony Ritz is the third Yankee bouncer to hit Homers with double-digit numbers in 2022 – Reading Eagle

BALTIMORE – Anthony Ritz joined Aaron Judge (12) and Giancarlo Stanton (10), making a home run in the ninth inning. Surprisingly, this is the first time in Yankee history that they have had three players with 10 or more home runs in the first 35 games.

It took Rizzo a while to get there. He has not received a home run since April 29 in Kansas City – until he reached his 10th of the season in the ninth inning.

“Definitely, it’s only part of the season where you put in the work and don’t necessarily get results. So it’s definitely a battle, but that’s usually how you get on track, and one such move can definitely help, ”Ritz said of his Homer. “It seems to me that yesterday was much closer, even some of today’s outings didn’t necessarily look too good, but felt better, so we have to keep going every day and you know that one day we can just change everything.”

Overall, the wolf bat Ritz has made a big contribution to the Yankees this season. Rizzo beats .224 / .3336 / .520 with nine home runs, .856 OPS.
