This year’s Tony Award will be presented by Ariana Deboz.
The West Side Story actress, who has starred in numerous Broadway productions, including Hamilton, Summer: Donna Summer’s Musical and Bring It: Musical, is honored to return home to her stage roots, endorsing the annual event. which honors the advanced qualities in the world of theater.
She said in a statement: “I’m coming home! It’s a great honor to celebrate the 75th anniversary of excellence in theater, but more importantly, every member of this community who has invested in making the Broadway lights a chance to shine brightly again!”

The Tony Awards 2022 will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount + from New York’s Radio City Music Hall on June 12th.
Adrien Warren and Joshua Henry will announce this year’s nominees on Monday (09.05.22).
In March, Ariana won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her work on West Side Story and emotionally reflected on her journey as a colorful amazing woman.
