Bensalham village officers receive regional awards for performance, heroism – including

BENSALEM – Several Bensalham township police officers have received regional awards for their police work and heroism.
Officer Robert Schwarting has been awarded the Bucks County Civic Crime Commission’s “Excellent Police Work” award for his proactive arrests, gun seizures, and work he does with the community through the Athletic Police League (PAL) and the K9 unit of B9 Township. .
Officer Steve Embs, Officer Samuel Led and Officer Kenneth Branford were awarded the Delaware Valley Professionals Association of Professional Police Officers by the Bucks County Legion of Excellence Award for their heroic actions to save his 20th year of life.
