BJ Novak snowboarding on the weekend | movies

BJ Novak is skateboarding on the weekends.
The 42-year-old actor and director, who just made his big-screen directorial debut with black comedy Revenge, revealed how he likes to relax when he’s not in the writers’ room or on set, and revealed a terrifying encounter with a shark while boarding.
When asked what his ideal weekend consists of, he told People magazine: “Going paddleboarding in the bay with my family.
“For me, it’s like walking on the ocean.
“At one point I went too deep and the shark flew past me.
“I kind of didn’t believe it, like, ‘I don’t know what the hell that gray triangle was.’
“And I keep falling. My mom yelled at me.”
Novak stars as Ben Manaliwitz, a “journalist and podcaster who travels from New York to West Texas to investigate the death of a girl he had an affair with.”
Cast: Boyd Holbrook, Dove Cameron, Issa Rae and Ashton Kutcher.
Meanwhile, Novak recently admitted that having a Harvard graduate on his resume is “the worst thing you can have” on a comedy resume.
The ‘Office’ star said: ‘I don’t like to talk about it. I will, but I don’t like it.
“It’s the worst thing on a comedy resume, the worst.
“Comedian is an outsider’s profession. You stand for the underdog. You say what the bosses don’t say. But [Harvard] makes people think you’re in a different category. Or what you think you are.’
However, his statement caused a strong reaction on social networks.
