Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz “got along” in the first meeting.

The 23-year-old star and 27-year-old Nicole got married in Palm Beach, Florida, in April, but now Nicola has admitted that their first meeting at Coachella was incredible.

She admitted: “At first we did not get along.”

The couple rebuilt their wedding several times, announcing their engagement in July 2020.

But Nicola is thrilled with how it turned out in the end.

The blonde beauty told in the June issue of the British magazine Vogue: “When the world was closed, we went through different options for what the wedding will look like. We weren’t sure if we should do a small one before and then a big one.

“In the end, we decided we wanted a big wedding as soon as we could make it safe. And we’re so happy it happened. It was amazing to be in the presence of so many people we love again.”

Brooklyn, the son of David and Victoria Beckham, added: “We didn’t realize how much we missed it.”

Brooklyn’s parents were married in 1999 when they held a lavish ceremony at Lattrellstown Castle in Ireland.

But Brooklyn and Nicola decided to look for inspiration elsewhere.

Nicola said: “Their wedding was incredible and these photos are iconic, but the wedding we were most inspired by was Iman and David Bowie.”

The beloved couple also enjoyed cheeseburgers, french fries and chicken nuggets at the end of their big day.

Speaking of their party after party, Nicola – whose father is a major investor in American fast food chain Wendy’s – explained: “We didn’t eat at all until we drove up to Wendy’s truck and then I ate three burgers.”

Brooklyn added: “It was my idea, the perfect finishing touch.”
