Bryce Harper returns to Phyllis after a 5-game absence

Bryce Harper returned to Phyllis as a designated striker on Saturday after missing five previous games due to pain from injecting platelet-rich plasma into his right elbow.

The current MVP NL took third place for Phyllis against the Los Angeles Dodgers and right-handed Mitch White.

The 29-year-old Harper beats 0.305 with nine home runs, 14 doubles, 27 RBIs and 0.634 percent rebounds. He has been playing exclusively for the designated striker since his hand injury when thrown from the right field last month. He last played on the field in Miami on April 16th.

“The last couple of days have been tough for me,” Harper said before the game. “Yesterday I woke up feeling good, and today I also felt better.”
