The religious holiday celebrates the resurrection of Jesus after his crucifixion in Jerusalem.

“One of the most important parts of Easter for Bob and me is going to church – to Mass – and then spending time with family,” said Noel Meyer of Franklin.

Every year Mayer makes a big Easter basket for the whole family. She and her husband Bob Meyer raised four children in Landenberg.

Now this spring holiday weekend includes special Easter hunts with their grandchildren.

This weekend the family also enjoys nature walks in Landberg.

“Spring,” Meyer said. “I love it. It’s my favorite holiday.”

And while some prepare every recipe from scratch, others order from culinary experts in the kitchen.

From Triple Fresh in East Fellowfield to Carlina Market in West Chester, local family-run small businesses run and run this Easter and spring season by playing catering orders.

“Personally, my family is in different places and we celebrated together last week,” Avondale Mayor Susan Rusidl said. “For all the residents of Evondale, we wish a happy and safe Easter, Easter and Ramadan.”

Pesach began on Friday. Ramadan began on April 1.

After April, many more spring holidays are on the way.

Soon teenagers will be dancing at prom, loved ones will be celebrating graduation, toasting at weddings and sharing other events. Together.

“This Easter, according to our family tradition, we will gather in our home after church to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” said Gordon R. Eck, chairman of the Chester County Republican Committee. “God sent into the world His Son, Jesus Christ, to take away our sins. He accepted God’s punishment for our sin, and that is death, separation from God. Having died in my place and risen on the third day, God is now free to offer us a relationship with Him and with Him – eternal life.

Ek quoted from the Bible the words of John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
