Saturday Night Live another cast member is out.

September 19 of this year Chris Readwho has been on the legendary sketch show since 2017, has announced that he will not be returning for season 48 in the fall.

“Being a part of SNL has been the experience of a lifetime,” Redd said in a statement to E! News. “Five years ago, I walked into 30 Rock knowing it was a great opportunity for growth. Now, with friends that have become family and memories that I will cherish forever, I am grateful Lorne Michaels and the entire SNL organization.”

The 37-year-old added: “I can’t thank you enough from the bottom of my heart.”

Redd joined the show as a major player in 2017 before becoming a regular cast member in 2019. He became most famous for his impressions of Barack Obama and Kanye Westeven winning an Emmy in 2018 for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the song “Come Back Barack.”

Redd is the latest in a long line of Saturday Night Live cast members to leave the show.

I have old actors Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson and Kyle Mooney all announced their exit.

Earlier this month it became known that Alex Moffat, Melissa Villaseor and Aristotle Atari will not be returning for Season 48 either.

However, the mass exodus was compensated on September 15 NBC has announced the arrival of four new cast members: Marcella Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker.

Currently included are returning cast members Chloe Fineman, Kenan Thompson and Cecily Strong.

Season 48 of Saturday Night Live will premiere in the fall.
