November 1st marks the one year anniversary of Pastor Walt’s death. “Pastor Walt had a unique way of presenting the gospel through individual dramas of biblical people from the scriptures that made the Bible come alive,” said Pastor Paul Price.

The GriefShare teams from Homer City UMC, Grace UMC and Clymer Celebrate Life have teamed up to co-host Surviving the Holidays, scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, in the Fellowship Hall at Grace United Methodist Church, 50 S. Seventh St. Indiana.
The holidays can be difficult when you are dealing with the death of a loved one. This one-session event is packed with helpful tips, practical strategies for getting through the holidays, and hope for brighter days ahead.

Diocesan Women’s Conference
GREENSBURG — On Saturday, Nov. 12, the Diocese of Greensburg will present Spirited, its first-ever women’s conference, at Christ Our Shepherd Center.
The “Spiritual” will feature praise and worship, witness testimonies, crafts, prizes and lunch. Bishop Larry J. Kulik will also celebrate Mass for those present.
Those attending this first-ever Diocesan Women’s Conference will hear internationally renowned keynote speaker Carol Razza, MS, Ed.D. Dr. Raza, a psychotherapist for over 25 years, has written two books on kindness and parenting of teenagers. She is also a teacher and formation advisor at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Florida.
Participants will also have the opportunity to attend one of eight breakout sessions and provide witness testimony.

PENN RUN — The Penn Run Christian Outreach Center, a ministry of the Penn Run Church of the Brethren, will hold its annual holiday craft show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12.
The center is located at 75 Grace Church Road, just off Route 553 behind the church.
Organizers are looking for house parties and crafters for the event. More than 50 themed baskets will be up for silent auction from 9 to 11:30 a.m. with pies and baked goods for sale while they’re gone.
The church will be selling its almost famous homemade soup with homemade vegetable beef and chicken noodles, which can be purchased by the bowl, pint and quart. Food for breakfast and lunch will also be sold.
