Demi Lovato feels “sexually enhanced” | Celebrities

Demi Lovato feels like a “sexual powerhouse.”

The 30-year-old pop star is very candid about her sex life in her new album Holy F***, and Demi insists she’s never “shunned” it.

The “Heavens” hitmaker, who suffered a near-fatal drug overdose in 2018, explained: “I’m a very sexually active person. I have my own line of sex toys, so I didn’t shy away from it.

“So this album is kind of like sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll… without the drugs.”

Demi admits that her whole approach to life changed after she overdosed on heroin.

The singer, who is dating music star Jute$, told the BBC: “I once said in an interview that every day was a challenge and when I look back at those times, I knew something was wrong. And that’s because I wasn’t doing it for myself. Now I am.”

Demi recorded “Anyone” shortly before her overdose, and the singer now views the song and its lyrics as a “cry for help.”

She explained: “This song was written and recorded really shortly before everything happened.

“I recorded the vocals for it four days ago [the overdose]. The lyrics took on a completely different meaning. At the time I was recording this, I was almost listening and hearing the lyrics as a cry for help. And you kind of listen to it and think, like no one’s ever listened to that song and think, “Let’s help this [person]?'”

Demi admits that the song took on a special meaning.

She said: “I remember being in the hospital [after my overdose] and listen to the song. I just remember hearing the songs I’d just recorded and thinking, “If there’s ever a moment where I can come back from this, I want to sing this song.”
