Dr. Joseph W. Foote’s Youth Football Clinic Dedicates “In Memoriam” to Former Lower Marion Director Sean Hughes on June 5 – Mainline Media News

It was easy to dedicate the annual Youth Football Clinic of Dr. Joseph W. Foote on June 5 to the historic Arnold Field, the recently deceased principal of Lower Marion High School Sean Hughes.

All of the current Lower Marion Bulldogs – University head coach Joe Augustine, his coaching staff and players – knew Sean Hughes before his untimely death on November 13, 2021.

Throughout his long career at Lower Marion High School, from social science teacher to athletics director and assistant director, and eventually as director for 14 years, Sean Hughes lived up to his inspiring maxim, “Character Is considered, ”and has proven to be a loyal Lower Marion football fan.
