Driver dies after gunshot hits New Jersey home – NBC10 Philadelphia

A car crashed into a home in South Jersey Sunday morning after the driver was shot.

Family members of the driver told NBC10 the man died after the shooting and crash in a residential area of ​​Vineland. According to them, he lived just five minutes from the crash site.

The vehicle was traveling down the 1100 block of Elmer Road when it jumped a curb, drove through two lawns and struck the front of a home before coming to rest. Investigators also blocked off part of Main Road, up the street from Elmer Road, for several hours as they investigated.

The investigation was ongoing, and family members said they want to know why someone hurt their loved one.
