Huskins Calabria’s wife was heard explaining the situation to a 911 service operator in a call released last month.
“I’m calling because my husband is stuck on the side of the highway. He had to walk and refuel, “she told 911.” I called and called, he did not answer. “
Calaibra Haskins explains to the operator that she called from Pittsburgh and talked to her husband when his phone blurred.
“I just want someone to go to the area and see if his car is there, if everything is OK, or if something happened to him,” she asks the operator. “It’s not like he didn’t call me back and his phone burned down and he was left alone.”
