Dylon Bartifay has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Gregory Blair

Pittsburgh (KDKA) – A convicted murderer will spend the rest of his life in prison, the report said.

Trib reports on Friday that Dylon Bartifay was convicted of first-degree murder in the execution of Gregory Blair.

Bartifay was convicted in February 2019 in the fatal shooting of Blair, the father of former basketball star Pete Dejuan Blair.

Investigators said Barthefe and Blair quarreled on Center Street in Wilkinsburg. Bartholomew then shot Blair and left. Blair later died at the hospital.

Mr Blair was 46 years old when he died. His son performed at Shanley High School and the University of Pittsburgh before being drafted by the NBA club San Antonio Spurs in 2009. He played seven seasons in the NBA.
