Ezra Miller begins treatment for ‘complex mental health issues’ and apologizes for past behavior – NBC10 Philadelphia

Ezra Miller is seeking treatment after suffering a “major crisis”.

After a series of legal proceedings extending to 2020The Outbreak star announced that she had recently started treatment for her mental health issues and apologized.

“Having recently gone through a period of intense crisis, I now realize that I have complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” Miller told E! News in a statement dated August 15. “I want to apologize to everyone who has alarmed and upset me with their past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life. “

The 29-year-old’s statement came almost four months after the star came out arrested for second degree assault after the alleged incident in Hawaii.

According to the Hawaii Police Department, Miller allegedly became upset after being asked to leave a private residence in the Puna subdivision and threw a chair, “striking a 26-year-old woman in the forehead.” The actor was subsequently arrested during a traffic stop for the incident and released “pending further investigation.”

The actor then grabbed her by the neck and pinned her against an object from behind before other people intervened. Miller has not spoken publicly about the incident.
