‘Festival’ of trees to raise money for local animal shelters and animal rescues – Top Media News

UPPER MERION — Five local animal rescues are teaming up once again for this exciting two-day “PHestivaL” to get into the holiday spirit and raise funds for local animal shelters. The third annual PHestivaL of Trees is a holiday-themed family event featuring uniquely decorated holiday trees, rescue pets and Santa. The event will be held in the pavilion part of the King of Prussia shopping center on December 3 and 4.

Last year, more than 150 trees were decorated and sold to raise $48,000 distributed among eight local animal rescues. Rescuers each received $6,000, allowing some to double their operating budgets. Trees will be decorated by individuals, businesses and organizations with the goal of raising more funds for Animal Rescue Partners through increased attendance and participation. It’s something for adults and kids alike; the stars of the event are rescue pets from local shelters and rescues.

The five animal rescuers teaming up this year include:

Hart 2 hearts

Rescue animals at the shelter

Shelter and hospice for senior dogs

Lucky you!

Project of a house for animals

In addition to ACME Markets, PHestivaL of Trees has new partners this year: United Healthcare, Metropolitan Veterinary Associates and Planet Fitness, who appreciate its mission to support local animal rescues and shelters.

PHestivaL of Trees 2022 will be held on December 3rd and 4th in the pavilion section of the King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia.

“We are delighted to be continuing PHestivaL of Trees again in 2022. Every year when we discuss the status of this fundraising event, our animal rescue partners remind us how much this event means to them,” said BJ Zellers, event organizer and president of marketing for TKE. She added: “We believe that changing the location, lowering the entry fee and simplifying the format with just decorated trees, Santa Claus and adoptable pets will help us achieve our goals of increasing participation and attendance. This in turn will attract more funds to animal shelters and rescues at a time when funding sources are still important to support the great work they do.”

Another way to join the PHestivaL of Trees and help raise funds for animal shelters and rescues is to sponsor and decorate a tree that will be displayed among the trees for visitors to view. After the event, these trees will be sold online, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to local shelters and rescues in accordance with the 2022 Festival of Trees. Sign up below to decorate a tree at: https://www.PHestivaLofTrees.com/design-a-tree/ and you’ll be assigned a 7.5-foot artificial tree to showcase your individual or company’s personality with holiday decorations and lights. You will also receive free passes to the PHestivaL of Trees.
