Fetterman undergoes a pacemaker implantation procedure The state

A few hours before the polls closed, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, a U.S. Senate candidate, underwent a pacemaker implant procedure after suffering a stroke over the weekend.
Fetterman, who led the polls in the last hours of election night, opposed his fellow Democrat Conor Lam and MP Malcolm Kenyatta.
According to a Twitter message, Feterman was resting after about a two-hour procedure.
I just came out of the procedure to implant a pacemaker with a defibrillator into my heart. We understood that it was a success and that I was on my way to a full recovery.
Thank you yinz for the good wishes – that means the whole world for me. 🥰
Now back to rest + recovery!
