Williamsport, Pennsylvania – Unofficial election results are available. The final results are expected to be announced in the next few days, according to Acting Secretary of State Lee Chapman.
In a fierce race for the Republican candidacy for governor, State Senator Doug Mastrian seems to be running with 45 percent of the vote, up from 95 percent.
Now in the general election in November, Mastrian will face the Democratic governor’s candidate, Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
In the Senate race, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman defeated U.S. MP Connor Lamb and won the Democratic nomination with 58.96 percent of the vote.
