Flowers of Wilmington, Lucius, Mother’s Day, Technical Technology Week at the Branch’s “What to Do” This Week

Sunday is Mother’s Day, and there are many ways to celebrate moms across the Delaware Valley, including activities they can attend – with and without children. And, when Mom is proficient in technology, Philly Tech Week returns for the first time since 2019 for a hybrid event that will begin on Thursday.
Wilmington Flower Market
The 100th annual market, founded by Mrs. A. Felix Dupont, is one of the most popular fundraisers in the area. He also grew exponentially over the years as Mrs. Dupont and her equally wealthy friends donated bakery products, pets and seedlings from their gardens for the first festival, which brought in $ 1,500 to a local children’s hospital. Now the market / festival includes a three-day concert with artists such as the Academy of Country Music nominee Lily Rose on stage. But as in the past, the market continues to benefit children’s charities in Delaware.
