Passenger Coffee, which operates in downtown Lancaster, was recently named the best coffee shop in Pennsylvania, according to latest report from Food & Wine magazine.

Writer David Landzel singled out one coffee shop on staff, singing in his Passenger recording.

“There are states where the best choice would be a good find if you ever find yourself there, as well as Pennsylvania, where Passenger Coffee is not only one of the best roasters in the country, but also one of the friendliest and most affordable,” wrote Landzel. .

This is not the first year that Passenger Coffee has been recognized as the best coffee shop in Pennsylvania by Food & Wine; the cafe was also recognized as the best in the state in 2018 and 2019.

Passenger has two locations in Lancaster: a coffee shop and a teahouse at 7 W. King St. and fried at 131 N. Plum St. Both cafes are open daily from 7am to 2pm.
