Giant Eagle resembles packaged slices of apples with peanut butter

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Branded pieces of GetGo apples with peanut butter have been withdrawn due to potential salmonella contamination.
Giant Eagle has recalled branded peanut butter Dip GetGo, which is sold in stores in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana, the company said Monday.
Giant Eagle said the affected product was sold at GetGo locations by May 13 and can be identified by UPC 30034 93770 6 and includes best use by May 29.
There have been no reports of diseases associated with the recall, Giant Eagle said.
