In the Kennett senior complex there will be a job fair – Daily Local

KENNETT SQUARE – Kendal ~ Crosslands Communities will hold a job fair on Wednesday, June 1, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at its Kendall campus in Longwood.

“We are excited to host a job fair for the community,” Lisa said. “Our 500-acre campus is beautiful, and as soon as visitors drive into our campus and see the beautiful area; they are surprised. It creates excellent working conditions. “

The Kendal-Crosslands Communities employ a variety of people, including nurses (RNs and CNAs) and cooking servers, dishwashers and waiters, administrative support, area staff, management roles, environmental services and facilities. With a campus of more than 500 acres, nearly 900 residents and 4 campuses, it’s no surprise that Kendal ~ Crosslands Communities is one of the largest employers in South Chester County, with more than 500 full-time and part-time employees.

For almost 50 years, the nonprofit retirement community has been providing services to the elderly. “Employees are family to us,” said Betty Warner, president of the Longwood Kendall Residents Association. “We work with employees every day, and society improves our lives.”

The community offers many benefits, such as tuition assistance programs – even for high school students, great health benefits, savings plans, and if you work in their culinary department, you get free meals. Value-oriented Quaker roots mean that all people are welcomed.

“During the job fair, we will be handing out prizes, conducting interviews and making job offers,” said Aaron Basix, a human resources specialist. “It will be a fun time and we look forward to meeting friends from our area.”
