(Central Square) – Support for more education funding is not uncommon among Democrats across the country, but Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro stands out – his support for school choice.

On the campaign trail, Shapiro emphasized his support for a “strong education system” and plans to make “critical investments” in teachers, buildings and technology. Less emphasized, for now latest news was his support for allowing parents to choose the schools their children attend.
