Informed Family Financial Services acquires Strategic Wealth Advisory

WEST NORRITON — Informed Family Financial Servicesa financial planning and wealth management firm headquartered in Montgomery County, has acquired Strategic Wealth Advisory, with offices in Exeter Township, Berks County, and Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County.

The combined practices have come together under the Informed Family Financial Services brand, bringing the firm’s offices to four as it expands its presence in eastern Pennsylvania.

According to Bush, the transition to the combined firm began on July 1. In an emailed response to questions, he added that clients “will have access to a broader team of financial expertise, as well as additional physical locations. In addition, we have been providing administrative support for over 50 years.”

Strategic Wealth Advisory President Earl D. Schultz joins Informed Family Financial Services as a senior financial advisor, along with Shannon Laros, who joins Informed Family Financial Services as an investment advisor representative.

In a letter to clients posted on Strategic Wealth Advisory’s website, Schultz said that over the past six months, he has “worked to ensure that these changes have as little impact on our clients as possible.”

He added that he has known Bush since 2006.

“I have participated in training groups with him for the past sixteen years and we share very similar views on how clients should be treated,” the letter said.

According to Bush, customers of both companies are being notified of the acquisition by US mail as well as by email.

“Nothing will change for customers. All account structures are expected to remain the same. Both financial groups are part of the same broker/dealer and use the same philosophical approach to financial planning,” he said in an emailed response.

The advisers that make up the advisory groups Informed Family Financial Services and Strategic Wealth Advisory are representatives of investment advisers from USA Financial Securities, which links them with similar structures, marketing strategies and practices of attracting new clients, according to the company.

Bush, a graduate of Alvernia University, has family and professional ties to the Reading area and the Lehigh Valley, and “saw an excellent opportunity to reconnect with his roots and expand the business in a natural and comfortable environment,” according to the statement. press release.

As part of the expansion, the acquisition marks the expansion of Steve Jablonski’s role as a senior partner at Informed Family Financial Services.
