Is it the Beatles? No, it’s Fab Faux. And they return to the State Theater of Easton – Morning Bell

There’s a cover of the Beatles – and there’s Fab Faux.

A group of musicians who diligently recreate and appreciate the music we all love, Fab Faux will return to the Istana State Theater on June 17th.

The famous cover band is a favorite of the audience of the State Theater. Founded in 1998, Fab Faux is a work of love created by Will Lee, bassist of the CBS Orchestra Paul Schaefer on “Late Show With David Letterman”.

Lee was determined to organize the greatest Beatles band without any props (no periodic wardrobe, fake accents, wigs) and focus on the subtleties and soul of the music.

Jimmy Vivin, Conan’s music director / guitarist and long-time music partner of Leon Helm, John Sebastian, Lori Nair, drummer and producer Rich Pagan (Rosana Cash, Roger Waters, etc.), guitarist Frank Finne Knel et al.) and multi-instrumentalist Jack Petruzelli (producer Joan Osborne, Love And Hate]Patti Smith et al.).

All five members of the band contribute vocals, making Faux harmonies as resonant as their multi-instrumental chops.

High energy shows The Faux have sold out at Radio City Music Hall and The Beacon Theater in New York, as well as on major dates in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Park City, Utah and Philadelphia. They were the headliners of five annual Beatles festivals in Liverpool, performing in front of 35,000 Beatles fanatics. They also had the rare opportunity to record an original song at Abbey Road Studios.
