ARLINGTON — Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he spoke to Odell Beckham Jr. on the phone on Thanksgiving Day when his team blanked the Giants, another OBJ suitor, 28-20.

“We had a good visit today,” Jones told local reporters. “Odell could help us. I believe that right now. Now we have to make it fit. It’s a challenge.”

Beckham did not attend Thursday’s game in person, but he intends to visit the Giants, According to CBS insider Josina Anderson, the Cowboys and Buffalo Bills are in that order. And he’s also in talks with the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs.

According to FOX’s Jay Glazer, Beckham’s visit to the Cowboys is scheduled for Dec. 5, meaning Beckham will likely visit the Giants’ facility next week unless his plans change.

Bills pass rusher Von Miller, a good friend of Beckham’s, injured his knee during Thursday’s win in Detroit. So Beckham’s draw also has to watch to see if Miller’s initial sprain diagnosis is confirmed on Friday.

“Happy Thanksgiving,” Beckham tweeted with an emoji during the Cowboys’ dominating victory.

Giants with caps lose three of the last fourthe logical move for the team, Beckham, or both could be mutual interest in meeting until 2023.

But stay tuned. Anything is possible with OBJ. And New York will always be home.


No. 5 overall pick Kaivon Thibodeau was active on Thursday. According to TruMedia, he had a QB-record five hits against Dak Prescott, converted a penalty and created pressure on 38.1% of his 21 pass rushes.

“It was a day to show my growth and how much work I’ve put in,” Thibodeau said.

But Thibodeau managed just one tackle and allowed Prescott to escape on a sure sack early in the second half, leading to a 5-yard scramble to start the Cowboys’ touchdown.

“It definitely eats you alive when you miss the plays you’re given,” he said. “I have to be able to break down and make a tackle … I still am [have] a lot to go. Obviously, I didn’t get it the way I wanted. You just have to keep going.”

Thibodeau limped at one point in the second half but returned to the game.


Andrew Thomas played on the left. He entered and exited the stadium wearing a mask. But he disappointed himself by allowing two sacks by Cowboys pass rusher Mick Parsons. “The whole game I felt like I didn’t play at the level I wanted to play at,” Thomas said.


The Giants lost their fourth straight game on Thanksgiving, falling to 7-6-3 all-time on the holiday, including 1-4 in the Super Bowl era. They haven’t won on Thanksgiving since 1982… Saquon Barkley’s 1-yard TD in the second quarter was the Giants’ first offensive touchdown on Thanksgiving since 1938, or five games and 84 years ago.


Free safety Xavier McKinney (left hand), who remains inactive on the non-football injury list, was wheeled into the X-ray room at AT&T Stadium before the game to check the progress of his injury. McKinney didn’t wear a hard plastic sleeve on his arm, just a large film. He had surgery on at least a couple of broken fingers after a quad bike accident at Caba in Week 9.


The Giants led 13-7 at halftime but were outscored 21-7 in the second half … Cornerback Radarius Williams and safety Julian Love both had interceptions for Prescott. It was Williams’ first career NFL interception. Both picks also match the Giants’ total interceptions through the first 10 games of the season. Love leads the team with two. Darnay Holmes broke up a pass that led to a Love pick… Giants kicker Graham Gano made field goals of 57 yards and 47 yards. He made the first for an early 3-0 lead after Ezekiel Elliott’s fourth-down stop by former Cowboy Jaylon Smith at the Dallas 40-yard line…Darius Slayton had a 44-yard scamper to set up Barkley’s early touchdown…Holmes was whistled for the killer, who held a 3rd-and-7 penalty against Siddy Lamb early in the third quarter. Holmes said the judge told him he grabbed Lamb’s shirt. It’s not clear how the official saw Holmes’ hand go under Lamb’s jersey.. Brian Daboll was furious with the refs for an illegal penalty at center field on right tackle Tyr Phillips that nullified Daniel Jones’ first-quarter TD pass to Isaiah Hodgins . Duboll was still in awe of the game after the game. “You have to ask the officials,” he growled.. Later, Trevon Diggs’ defense against Hodgins overturned Jones’ interception in the second quarter for safety Donovan Wilson … Leonard Williams said he went to the locker room at one point because he strained his left calf. But he was massaged, put on a drip, and when he returned to the game, it wasn’t a problem … The Giants’ seven inactives started in corners Adoree Jackson (sprained right MCL) and Fabian Mora (oblique), center John Feliciano (neck), right tackle Evan Neal (sprained MCL/illness), left guard Josh Ezeoudou (neck), tight end Daniel Bellinger (eye) and guard Shane Lemieux (toe).
