Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal forgives Bataclan strikers Celebrities

Eagles of Death Metal singer Jesse Hughes has forgiven extremists who stormed the Bataklan in 2015.

The 49-year-old musician was playing at a landmark in Paris when gunmen stormed a building and opened fire on a crowd, but Jesse has now forgiven terrorists involved in a series of attacks across the French capital.

The music star, who testified in a French court, told reporters: “It’s important to forgive. I’m a Christian. And … everyone can get lost and everyone needs to find a way. And most of these gentlemen are there So I forgive them and hope they they will find God’s peace for themselves. “

Earlier, Jesse explained how concert goers tried to escape from the attackers.

He shared: “Several people hid in our dressing room, and the killers were able to come in and kill every one of them except the child who was hiding under my leather jacket.”

Ninety people were killed in Bataclan, and Jesse recalled that many concertgoers were killed because they refused to leave their friends during the attack.

He said: “People played for the dead and were so scared. The great reason why so many were killed is that so many people don’t leave their friends. So many people put themselves in front of people.”

Despite the attack in Paris, Jesse’s views on gun control have not changed in recent years.

The South Carolina-born singer previously explained: “I trusted (them) control over guns, and I was in a country where no one can own guns. It’s been 100 years and so far no one can explain to me how it prevented the bad guys become the best armed strikers, then I’m not interested in hearing about it as a solution to what worries us now.
