Jodie Sweetin got married.

The 40-year-old actress tied the knot with Meskal Vasilevskiy in an intimate ceremony at a private home in Malibu on Saturday (30/07/22) in front of 50 guests, including her daughters from a previous relationship, Zoe, 14 and 11. year-old Beatrix and her Full House co-stars, including John Stamos, Andrea Barber and Candice Cameron Bure.

Jodie, who wore a dress by Lili Bridals, told People magazine: “I know I have the right partner for the rest of my life. And I couldn’t be more grateful.”

In an outdoor ceremony, the bride was walked down the aisle by her father, Sam, and her daughters stood by her side as she and a social worker exchanged individual vows.

Guests then enjoyed a taco and guacamole bar dinner catered by Border Grill before feasting on a variety of desserts and wedding cake by Big Sugar Bakeshop.

Jodi said of the reception: “I didn’t want it to be fussy. The look is very organic and natural. It’s just good food and good friends — and twinkling lights!”

The pair struck up a long-distance romance in 2017 after meeting through mutual friends, before Mezcal moved from New York to join Jodi in Los Angeles in 2020, and they got engaged in January of this year.

Jodi couldn’t be happier to have found the right “teammate” for her.

She raved: “All the pieces just fell into place.

“Mezcal makes me feel completely comfortable and safe enough to shine as brightly as I need to. It fits and pops for my girls. And we harmonize so well. He’s truly the best teammate I could ever ask for.”

Jodie revealed she was engaged just days before she turned 40 in January.
