Josh Shapiro, the only Democratic candidate running for governor of Pennsylvania and incumbent attorney general, received a positive result at COVID-19, he said this morning at the Pennsylvania primaries in 2022.
Shapiro said he got positive results when he passed a preventive test on COVID before traveling to Johnstown and Pittsburgh on Monday night.
“Attorney General Shapiro is currently experiencing mild symptoms, and he plans to continue his work to serve the people of Pennsylvania by isolating himself at home,” his company said in a statement.
Shapiro said he plans to return to the election campaign next week, starting with Johnstown.
