Kathy Griffin claims her surgeon “ghosted” her about her post-cancer scan.

The 61-year-old comedian, who announced in December 2021 that she was cancer-free after being diagnosed last August, took to social media to ask her fans for advice.

She wrote on Instagram: “Ok I know this is crazy but I can’t get through to the oncologist and the surgeon who removed half of my lung is ghosting me.

“That’s what happened to people! I’m posting my scan results on Instagram in hopes that someone will put this under the oncologist’s nose and send me some English interpretation of what’s going on with my post-op situation!

“Social media can be used for good, dammit!”

Although the comments were clearly unverified in terms of medical accuracy, many people responded when she shared a photo of the scan results in text form.

One follower said it “looks good, no problems” as people deciphered the medical terminology, while another added: “No relapses or metastases = great!!! (Not an oncologist; just happy you’re doing well).”

She shared the same message on Twitter and one person recommended her a specialist, but it turned out to be the same one she claims is her ghost.

She replied, “He was the surgeon who removed 1/2 of my left lung.

“But I lost faith in him because the day he operated on me in the morning, he himself went under anesthesia a couple of hours later in the same hospital and had knee surgery.

– So he didn’t eat or drink before he cut me.

Late last year, Katy revealed she was in remission during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

At the time, she said: “I don’t have cancer.

“I don’t know why, I had a tumor, right? And I’ve never smoked and she’s been there for 10 years. So get this, they took it out and found it in another scan.’
