LEADS, a volunteer organization responsible for beautifying the center of Lancaster with holiday decorations, will soon add to the spring mood on the streets of Lancaster.

The organization will soon hang about 300 flower baskets on lantern poles as part of Adopt-A-Basket’s annual fundraiser.

Individuals can “take” baskets in memory or in honor of a loved one for $ 90; on each basket hangs a plate with this designation. Donors can also post a photo on their shopping cart table for an additional $ 10.

To take the basket, visit lancasterleads.org/adopt-a-basket. The deadline for accepting baskets is May 10.

Baskets are grown locally at Freya Greenhouse, 1501 Columbia Ave.
