Microsoft Teams is now available in Windows 10 and Windows 11 through the Microsoft Store

San Francisco: Years after launch, the Microsoft Teams video collaboration tool finally made its way to the tech giant’s store in Windows 11 and Windows 10. According to Windows Central, PC users can now enjoy a popular communication program directly through the Microsoft Store on either Windows 11. or Windows 10. Microsoft Teams gets network technology for holographic experience during video chats: report.

Teams, a patented business communications platform developed by Microsoft as part of the Microsoft 365 family of products, was already available in Windows, but is now a little easier to find because it is in the Microsoft Store.

Windows 11 and Windows 10 users will have different Teams experiences after downloading through the Microsoft Store, the report said.

Individuals with Windows 10 will be able to use Teams with personal, work, or school accounts. The Teams version for Windows 11 only supports work and school accounts.

The difference is probably due to the fact that Windows 11 has a built-in Chat app based on the personal version of Teams. Users can still download Teams for personal use through the Microsoft website.

Aside from the difference in the types of accounts that are supported, users should not see a difference between the version of Teams Microsoft Store and the version they used before on the PC. The program will still use its own auto-update method and has the same feature set as the version available on the Microsoft website.
