Most people will come to Annie Bailey on Saturday with hair, but by the end of the day more than 50 people will be gone without them.

This weekend, the Irish pub of Annie Bailey will host the annual fundraiser on St. Baldrick’s Day, which raises funds for cancer research in childhood.

The overall goal is to raise $ 100,000. As of Wednesday morning, the pub was close to $ 30,000. The Lancaster Pub Crawlers team raised more than $ 7,000.

“Every year, more than 300,000 children are diagnosed with cancer. As St. Baldrick’s largest event in Pennsylvania, we have important work to do to raise awareness and raise money to save children from cancer,” said Shannon Hamblin, spokeswoman. LNP email. | Lancaster Online.
