MINEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Although some streets near the US Bank Stadium will be closed or restricted in preparation for the Four NCAA Finals, there are many parking and transportation options.
Final Four events will be held throughout the city center, including at the US Bank Stadium, the Armory, the Minneapolis Convention Center and the Nicollet Mall.
Mills Fleet Farm Parking, Denison Parking, Riverfront Municipal Parking, Mill Quarter Parking Ramp and Open Lots along 3rd Street parking is available near US Bank Stadium during Final Four events, reports the city of Minneapolis. Mills Fleet Farm parking is also available via Skyway.
According to the US Bank Stadium website, there are more than 20,000 parking spaces between the stadium and Hennepin Avenue. The website has an online guide to Final Four event parking. The cost of parking is different.
The March Madness music series will take place at the Armory, and parking is available on site when you enter from 5th Avenue South. Additional parking options include an open space across the street from the site and a government center parking lot.
The Final Four Fest will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center, and parking for the event will be available at Lorraine Garage, Plaza Municipal Parking and Lutheran Central Ramp on 3rd Avenue.
The Tipoff rear door on the Nicollet will have several parking options, including RSM Plaza, RBC Plaza, Marq 9 Lot, Metro Ramp, City Center Parking Ramp and SP + Parking.

In Minneapolis, there are several options when it comes to public transportation, including buses and light rail transit systems.
The fare on the bus ranges from $ 2 to $ 2.50. There are also free buses that take riders around Nicollet Mall.
Blue and green light rail trains connect downtown Minneapolis with the airport, Mall of America, St. Paul and 43 other stations. To access the US Bank Stadium, the official Final Four guide says the riders will want to get off the high-speed rail at Government Plaza station.
According to the city of Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Skyway System is the largest adjoining second-level closed bridge system in the world. The system includes more than 9 miles of tracks connecting 80 urban neighborhoods.
In the city center there will be official places for disembarkation and removal of the “Final Four”. Location: Nicollet between 9th Street and LaSalle, 5th Avenue between 4th and 5th Streets and South 7th between Chicago and 10th.
