Nick Frost and Lena Headey will star in the movie “Svalta”.
The pair star in the comedy thriller and will reunite after working together on the 2019 wrestling film Feud With My Family.
The project is scheduled to shoot next year in Finland and follows a family who moves to a remote island with a dark past during summer vacation. They discover that a serial killer is on the loose, but find that the hostile locals have no interest in helping them.
Nick, 50, wrote the script for the film directed by Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil.
The Shaun of the Dead star said: “Take a gentle English family and send them on holiday to a tiny Swedish island full of maniacs. Simple. Not so much “Nuts in May.” More Nuts in Chaos.
“After working with Lena in ‘Fighting My Family,’ I couldn’t think of anyone else in the world that I would rather play Susan. So I was absolutely thrilled when I heard that not only did she read the script, but she actually liked it enough to make me so honored to say yes and be my on-screen wife again.”
Meanwhile, Lena stripped down in the recent film “Nine Bullets” and admits that she liked the picture.
The 48-year-old actress, who starred in hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, said: “I stripped down and thought, ‘When I’m on my deathbed, I’m going to look back and think I worked really hard to look good.’
“No one forced me, no one twisted my arm, it’s in history… and I accepted it.”
