North Huntington Twp. lightning struck the house

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – One person was injured and a house in Westmarland County was badly damaged by lightning on Monday.

Officials say the house on Sedona Drive in the town of North Huntingdon was one of a number of homes affected by the lightning strike.

According to the Circleville Voluntary Fire Department, one person was injured.

Photos of the fire service show that the house was badly damaged, including a hole in the roof of the house that needs to be closed.

The victim was cleared by doctors, but the extent of their damage is unknown.
