Olivia Wilde letting the world know that there is no need to worry dear because this spit theory is not true.
The director of Don’t Worry Sweetheart has answered the million dollar question that has been sweeping the Internet since earlier this month: Is Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine in 2022 Venice Film Festival? Olivia put those rumors to rest.
“Harry didn’t spit on Chris,” Wilde remarked during a September 21 appearance on the “The Late Show”adding, “I think it’s a great example of how people will look for drama wherever they can.”
Leave it to the host of The Late Show Stephen Colbert tease Wilde a bit by replying, “Only time will tell. Let’s see.” Naturally, Wilde found herself laughing at Colbert’s remarks. She doubled down on her stance, adding, “No! He really didn’t.”
Maybe #SpitGate can finally be put to rest. A fashionable topic was born afterwards personnel Styles and Pine hit the net at the Venice Film Festival premiere of Don’t Worry Darling. In it, Stiles returns to his seat next to Pine as he lunges forward into Pine’s lap. Pine then looks down in surprise and the rest is history.
Following the online speculation, Pine’s rep told E! News that “there is nothing but respect between these two people.”
“This is a completely fabricated exchange,” the rep added, “and any other suggestions are a clear attempt to create drama that simply doesn’t exist.”
Meanwhile, Wilde wasn’t the only one to laugh off the alleged incident. Styles joked about it while on stage at his Sept. 7 concert.
“It’s great to be back in New York,” Styles began, as seen in a clip shared on Twitter @cactusgirli. “I just popped over to Venice real quick to spit on Chris Pine. But fear not, we are back.’
Anyway, this couple proved that they can easily put you in a bad situation!
