Olivia Wilde wants to ‘protect’ her romance with Harry Styles | Celebrities

Olivia Wilde is determined to “protect” her romance with Harry Styles.

The 38-year-old actress and Harry, 28, started dating last year, but the celebrity couple are keen to keep their relationship out of the spotlight.

Olivia, who has eight-year-old Otis and five-year-old Daisy with ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis, explained: “I’m not going to say anything about it because I’ve never seen a relationship benefit from being brought out into the public arena.

“We are both doing everything we can to protect our relationship; I think it is not only from experience, but also from deep love.’

Olivia co-starred Harry in her new psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling, and the pop star enjoyed working with her.

Harry shared: “As a director, Olivia is incredibly focused. She expressed clearly and respectfully what she expected from the cast.

“I think the transition from acting to directing has made her a director who knows how to get the best out of everyone.”

Harry stars in the film alongside Florence Pugh and Chris Pine.

Olivia insists she enjoyed her experience working with Florence, despite rumors of tension between the pair.

She told Variety: “We were all brought so close by the production bubble.

“She really was a big fan [Harry] as someone who was new to the set. And he was a big fan of hers, as someone who understood that this was her film.”

Olivia’s personal life came under the spotlight after she broke up with Jason and began dating Harry. And the actress admits that it was not easy to bear the extra attention.

She said: “My family has gone through such a restructuring and revolution over the past two years that it must be a very personal experience. And this is not so. The most painful element of it was women shaming me for making a decision that was for my health and happiness.’
