Onvo Travel Plaza will celebrate its grand opening

The brand new Onvo Travel Plaza in Dorrance will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday.
The new facility, located at 7018 Blue Ridge Trail just off Interstate 81 exit 155, will have Sunoco gas, truck diesel and a full-size Burger King, among many other amenities.
The location marks Onvo’s first ground-up for a new prototype store with features like bean-to-cup coffee machines, two shower stalls and a beer fridge called the Beer Barn.
The new travel site will also feature a section dedicated to local products from the NEPA region, including local sodas and snacks such as cured meats and trail mix.
“We are very excited to celebrate the second anniversary of our rebranding last week with the opening of this location,” said Soni Singh, Chief Business Development Officer, Onvo. “This store is the culmination of everything we hope the Onvo brand will be moving forward, and we can’t wait to start serving our customers.”
Onvo Travel Plaza — Dorrance will also be home to Onvo’s first electric vehicle chargers, which will be installed beginning this fall.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the traveling plaza will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
In celebration of the grand opening, the store will be offering customers a free coffee of any size for the first week of operation, August 24-31.
Onvo will mark the occasion with a $2,000 donation to Candy’s Place, a local cancer resource center.
