Police: a man shot his wife in a U-Haul establishment and took her handbag and mobile phone

GREENSBURG, PA (KDKA) – We’ll learn more about Kelly Steele’s death over the weekend.

Investigators said the woman’s husband shot the victim over allegations of infidelity. Court documents say Alfred Steele was ready and waiting for a gun rental where he allegedly shot his wife on Saturday.

According to investigators, Kelly, who is considered a good and kind mother, ended when she met her husband at the Lower Burrell U-Haul rental center.

The same investigators said Alfred told them that he and his wife began arguing over allegations of infidelity when he pulled out a gun and shot the back of the head of a 41-year-old mother of two and a grandmother of two.

According to the criminal case, he allegedly grabbed her handbag and mobile phone by shooting the woman in the head. Investigators said Kelly’s handbag was found in Albert’s car. Court documents show that Albert told police he threw the phone out of his car between the U-Haul center and the police department.

Those who knew Kelly told KDKA-TV that she is a good person who deserves a better share.

He is now charged with murder. Earlier this year, Alfred had already been charged with aggravated drug charges.
