Police are investigating a report of shots fired in Nanticoke

NANTICOKE — Police are investigating a report of shots fired Sunday afternoon from the Burger King fast food restaurant at 1 W. Main St. There are no reports of casualties.

Police said witnesses described a dark-colored vehicle, possibly black or blue, occupied by two or three men near 99 S. Market St. at approximately 4:22 p.m. The people in the vehicle were involved in a verbal altercation with two men who were on foot in the Burger King parking lot. During a verbal altercation, a vehicle fled the parking lot at 99 S. Market St., firing several shots at two men inside the Burger King. The vehicle fled south on South Market Street.
