Rachel McAdams praises Benedict Cumberbatch: “He does everything for you” | Movies

Rachel McAdams called Benedict Cumberbatch “one of the greatest actors you can work with on screen.”
The 43-year-old actress, who first starred as Christine Palmer alongside Cumberbatch in Scott Derrickson’s 2016 film “Doctor Strange,” enthusiastically reiterated her role in Sam Raimi’s sequel “Doctor Strange in Multi-World Madness”.
She told Collider: “I was very happy to be back with her and with Benedict, he’s one of the greatest actors working opposite. You don’t need to work at all. He just does everything for you, you just stand and listen. It’s great. I was very excited to be back to be a part of it. “
McAdams also praised director Raimi and compared his personality to his fellow horror icon and late director of “Scream” Wes Craven. especially with the fact that a couple of them are “so good” despite their bloody projects on the big screen.
She said: “I love Sam so much. He’s just such a professional, but he’s so modest and so friendly. He’s the kindest person. Always such good horror movies are those who make horror movies. It’s so amazing.
“Like Wes Craven, the same thing. Nice, he’s a very gentle person. And then they just spend it all on screen, which is the best place to do it. So I enjoyed working with Sam and I love this character.” .
Meanwhile, the actress declined to disclose any details of the new film, citing Marvel’s habit of keeping word when it comes to their blockbusters.
Responding to any teasers, she replied, “I don’t think I’m allowed to do that legally.”
She joked, “I’m in it. I, of course, – and I have more than one scene.
