Report: Omar Khan is expected to be appointed CEO of Steelers

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It is reported that the Steelers have found their new CEO.

The new general manager is expected to be appointed Omar Khan, vice president of football and business administration for the Steelers, Adam Shefter of ESPN. He was hired by the Steelers in 2001 after working with the New Orleans Saints.

Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network said Eagles vice president of staff Andy Weedle is scheduled to become Pittsburgh’s new assistant general manager.

The change in head office came after Kevin Colbert stepped down as CEO after the 2022 NFL Draft.
