Sappey organizes a free event shred travel – Daily Local

KENNETT SQUARE – State MP Christina Seppi, D-158th from West Bradford, invites everyone to a free ride from 9am to noon (or until the trucks are full) on Saturday, June 11th. This year’s shred event is being held at the new location, Unionville High School, 750 Unionville Road on Kenneth Square. Staff will be on hand to guide drivers.
“Every year, more than 10 million Americans steal personal information,” Sapi said. “Proper disposal of sensitive items can help protect people and their families from identity theft. I am glad to hold this crushing event again so that the information does not fall into the wrong hands. “
Participants are asked to stay in their cars and open the trunk, staff will lower the car, and materials will be shredded on the spot.
The shred event is for individuals only and not for businesses. Only papers are accepted. Do not bring binders, paper clips or books. There is a limit of four boxes or bags per car. Bags / boxes will be returned after they are emptied.
Kenneth’s community services will work on site to collect food donations from non-perishable participants. Although donations are welcomed and encouraged, they are not required to access free crushing services.
Anyone with questions should contact Sappey’s office at (484) 200-8264.
Sapi is running for re-election against Republican Leon Spencer.
