Second annual charity polo match to be held in Chester County on September 25 – local daily newspaper

NEW GARDEN — Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation will sponsor the second annual charity polo match on Sept. 25 at the Brandywine Polo Club in Tagkenamon.

The event offers a fun-filled day of polo and a chance to hear from the 2022 grantees about the work they are doing. The day begins with a foundation awards celebration at 1:00 p.m., a gourmet lunch at 2:00 p.m. Individual tickets are $150 and can be purchased at the foundation’s website:

“We look forward with a renewed sense of hope and knowing that what we do at the Foundation matters,” said Anthony S. Wigley, Foundation President and President and CEO of Malvern Bank, National Association.

In 2017, Malvern Bank focused on equestrian sports and the bank’s sponsorship of the polo match is a natural extension of its support for the equestrian industry.

Malvern Federal Charities was established in 2008 and has donated more than $878,500 to charities in the service area. The Foundation is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of Malvern Bank, a National Association whose focus is to support organizations that contribute to the betterment of their citizens and seek to create a strong positive impact on basic needs in communities that it serves southeastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, and Palm Beach County, Florida.
